Carnevale, fun for all!
Over 80 RSVP’s for the Carnevale Wine Dinner that was held on Tuesday February 21. The guests enjoyed live music, dancing and of course food, food and more food! Read below to find out what food and wine was experienced during this amazing event.
Saltimbocca alla Romana ~ Pan Seared Veal cutlet with prosciutto and sage, paired with Cantine Maschio Prosecco, Brut Treviso
Frutti di Mare ~ chilled Octopus, Mussels, Calamari, Shrimp, and Little Neck Clams tossed in Italian marinade, paired with Le Rime Pinot Grigio, Tuscany
Tortelloni con Salvia ~ Cheese filled fresh pasta served in a butter sage sauce, paired with Centine Bianco, Tuscany
Bistecca ~ Porterhouse steak served with Fava Beans, paired with Castello Banfi Rosso di Montalcino
Insalata ~ White Asparagi, sweet potato, beets, radicchio Pepita seeds and pecorino cheese, paired with Col di Sasso Rosso, Tuscany
Torta Lombardi ~ Course Yellow cake with sweet Marscapone cheese and fresh raspberries, paired with Florus Moscadella di Montalcino
